Employee Claims

On privatisation of the rail industry, the British Railways Board retained responsibility, in the great majority of cases, for industrial diseases and employment-related claims resulting from the activities of itself and its predecessors as operators of trains, ships, workshops and hotels.

BRB (Residuary) Limited's policy with regard to the handling of these claims is, where legal liability rests with the Company, to settle them as expeditiously as possible.
