Brief Description
AAT Fast Track Scheme 2011 We are recruiting for the Association of Accounting Technicians Fast Track scheme. Successful recruits have the opportunity to join our professional training programme culminating in a qualification as a Chartered Accountant
Our fast track scheme for budding accountants is a must for anyone who wants to qualify as a first rate accountant - without the debt attached to a university education. Throughout your two year training programme, we will provide you with the financial assistance and paid day release to attend college, revise for and sit your exams. In fact, you can expect to receive all the help and support you need to achieve your AAT qualification, which will lead onto training for the globally recognised professional training accountancy qualification (ACA).
Vacancy description
This is an ideal opportunity to work for an independent, professional organisation on a two year training contract, initially undertaking the AAT Fast Track programme, leading on to completion of the ICAEW professional accountancy qualification. The position offers full support towards the ACA qualification. The NAO is the main public sector audit body, responsible for auditing the accounts of government departments and agencies. This involves checking the financial statements produced by our clients to ensure that all receipts and expenditure have been properly accounted for and testing their financial systems to ensure that payments have been made in accordance with accounting standards, advising where appropriate on how these systems can be improved. Independent of government, the NAO employs around 900 staff, the majority of whom are employed on financial audit work.
Qualifications
If you are a non graduate and have a minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent), grades A to C, including English and Maths, and either have or expect to achieve 300 UCAS points you could be one of a number of exceptional candidates to join us in 2011.
