I'm a patient

For confidentiality reasons your personal information is only available to NHS staff directly involved in providing your care. Please do not send us an enquiry about your care or any medical information, because we cannot access information held on any NHS systems or services to look into your personal circumstances. If you have an NHS or medical query then you need to contact NHS Direct, or visit NHS Choices or your GP.

Your local NHS is responsible for delivering NHS systems and services in your area. If you are experiencing difficulties or have a concern about NHS systems and services then you need to raise your query with your local NHS organisations, for example, your local GP practice, or Patient Advice and Liaison Service at your local hospital, Primary Care Trust or Strategic Health Authority because they are responsible for delivery of NHS systems and services in your area.

If your query is not already answered in our frequently asked questions section on this site then you can submit your enquiry here.

I work for the NHS

Before contacting us, please read through the information below to make sure that your question is directed to the correct place. Choosing the correct point of contact will mean that your enquiry will be dealt with quickly and effectively.

Your local NHS is responsible for delivering NHS systems and services in your area.

If you need technical support or help with an NHS system then you need to raise your query with your local IT helpdesk because they are responsible for dealing with your query in the first instance. If your local helpdesk cannot resolve your query, they will escalate your query to the national NHS Connecting for Health Service Desk (N3 connection required).

If you have a non-technical query about NHS systems and services in your local area, then you need to raise your query with your local Strategic Health Authority because they are responsible for dealing with your query in the first instance.

If you are registered on eSpace then you may like to post a message here to see if any of your NHS colleagues can offer help and advice.

If your query is not already answered in our frequently asked questions section on this site then you can submit your enquiry here.
