Qualifications
Lifelong Learning UK is making an essential contribution to the development of qualifications, working with partners across the four UK nations to make sure they meet employment and learners’ needs.
It is essential that LLUK identifies and works with key partners such as Government Departments, the regulatory and funding bodies, our awarding organisation partners, other Sector Skills Councils, the wide range of learning providers who will deliver our programmes and above all the employers in the industry.
LLUK works in collaboration with these partners to develop units and qualifications for the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) in England, Wales and Northern Ireland and the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) in Scotland.
LLUK takes every opportunity to ensure progression in the sector by developing qualifications that recognise framework developments in higher education, the UK and Europe.
