Race

The Race Equality Implementation Group (formerly known as the Workforce Race Advisory Group) was developed from the work for the Commission for Black Staff in Further Education. The group was formed to shape and inform workforce development in the further education sector and challenge racism, break down barriers for black and minority ethnic staff and raise the achievement level of all who work and learn in further education. As well as being part of the group, we provide secretariat support to the REIG.

This guidance below relates specifically to race. You may find other useful information on our page on the Equality Act 2010.
