RFA closes on 31st March, 2011

The Renewable Fuels Agency is being dissolved at one minute to midnight on 31st March, 2011. At that time its duties will be transferred to the Department for Transport. This website will not be updated after this date. Stakeholders wishing to be kept informed on the administration of the RTFO and wider biofuels policy should see the biofuels pages on the DfT website, a link to which will be posted here following the closure of the RFA.

With a view to enabling the most efficient contact and knowledge sharing between the organisations tasked with regulating renewable fuels in Europe and beyond, we have taken the initiative to establish REFUREC, an informal network of like-minded organisations.

Annual Report now live

The RFA has launched its Annual Report into the Impacts of the RTFO which can now be found on the website here

The report was discussed at a stakeholder meeting on January 27. The full agenda and presentations from the event can be viewed online here
