  • Lincolnshire

  • Northamptonshire

  • Nottinghamshire 

  • Rutland

The region is served by one international airport:

  • East Midlands Airport

It is also within easy reach of the following airports:

  • Birmingham

  • Manchester

  • Doncaster Robin Hood

  • Humberside

  • Luton

  • Stansted

Many of the major towns and cities in the East Midlands are located between 1 and 3 hours from London and enjoy strong rail and road links.

The region covers an area of 15,008 square kilometres and has a population of 4.4 million.
