Provider Guidance

Update - 8 December 2010

Transitional guidance for New Deal in Phase 2 and Personalised Employment Programme Areas Providers (96kb) PDF

Transitional guidance for Contractors in Employment Zones (59kb) PDF

Transitional guidance for Private Sector Led (PSL) New Deal Providers (61kb)PDF

Provider Guidance gives you information about your role as an organisation contracted to deliver provision for the DWP. Latest information on Provider Guidance can be found here and there is also information on previous updates.

The information in the first collection of chapters is generic to all provision.

The second collection of guidance provides information by programme. This information covers situations where the requirements of the programme are unique, or differ from the general rule, and should be read in conjunction with the generic guidance.

There is considerable detail in the schedules of Provider contracts with DWP. This guidance provides additional information to the contract schedules in terms of the Providers' relationship with DWP, what needs to be achieved in relation to the provision being delivered, and how to go about certain tasks and deal with issues.

The chapters can be searched for specific information, but if Providers cannot resolve issues by referring to the guidance they should discuss these with their local DWP District contact.
