Annual canvass

Annual Canvass New-PolaroidThere are two ways to register to vote: either via the annual canvass where a form is sent to your house every year (except in Northern Ireland) or by rolling registration where you can fill in a form at any time of the year and return it to your local electoral office.

We have a number of poster and press release templates available for local authorities to use for their annual canvass activity - you can download these in the 'toolbox' section below.

To find out more about the process of voter registration download our 'beginner's guide to voter registration'.

If you would like to register to vote visit www.aboutmyvote.co.uk.
