Overseas voters
Although estimates of the number of British expats vary from 5.5 to 13 million, there are only about 13,000 overseas voters registered in the UK.
We work with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office to spread the registration message via embassies, and also runs multi-media campaigns to ensure that expats know their rights.
For example, the Iberian consular service is enclosing our registration leaflet in all 22,000 new passport packs that they send out to British citizens in Spain and Portugal every year.
In addition to the materials below, our sister site www.aboutmyvote.co.uk has the latest registration forms, postal and proxy applications for British citizens living overseas.
