Service of legal documents
If you propose to serve a judicial review pre-action letter or claim form on the Environment Agency, please ensure it is sent to our Head Office legal department. Contact details for further service or correspondence will be confirmed in our letter of response or Acknowledgement of Service.
For all other legal documents, if you already have a named contact within our Legal Services, please send documents direct to that lawyer. If you do not, where your document relates to a specific Region please send it to the appropriate legal department, marked for the attention of the Regional Solicitor. In all other cases, and for legal documents relating to our National Permitting Service, please send to our Head Office legal department.
