Do you know what the Nottinghamshire Criminal Justice Board does?

Nottinghamshire Probation Trust and local Magistrates are launching the Local Crime Community Sentence project - an exciting new initiative working together with your community to improve public confidence in sentencing and raise awareness of the effectiveness of community penalties.

The project involves an interactive presentation by a Magistrate and member of Probation staff, and asks you to decide on a suitable penalty for offenders using a number of fictional case studies.

We are now looking for groups in the Nottingham City area who may be interested in hosting a presentation.

For a quick video introduction please click the logo above.

Further detail can be found at www.lccs.org.uk or by contacting the Local Co-ordinator, Lindsay Narey on 0115 840 6497 or emailing lindsay.narey@nottinghamshire.probation.gsi.gov.uk
