Welcome to the JET Programme UK Website

About the JET Programme

Almost in its 20th year the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) programme has placed over 44,000 participants from over 52 countries into positions in Japan. The JET Programme, the official government scheme, sends graduates to promote international understanding at a grass-roots level and to improve foreign language teaching in schools.

Be the face of JET!

The JET Programme UK is looking for people who have returned from JET and are interested in promoting it. We are looking for accounts of life on JET and photographs, especially of JETs 'in action'. Please contact us at the JET Desk to find out more.
