PM outlines Welfare Reform

The Government has outlined the need for reform in the welfare system. 

In a speech, delivered as the Government’s Welfare Bill was announced, Mr Cameron also called for a review into sickness absence.

The PM said: “We will look after the most vulnerable and needy. We will make the system simple. We’ll make work pay. We’ll help those who want to work, find work. But in return we expect people to take their responsibilities seriously too.”
