If you need an urgent response to an enquiry please ring our helpline. We respond to all online and written enquiries as quickly as we can, but at busy times this can take a number of days.

Enquire about notification
Notifying with the ICO is the process by which a data controller’s details are added to the data protection public register. If you would like to ask about the obligation to notify under the Data Protection Act please email our Notification Team at notification@ico.gsi.gov.uk
