If you've been a victim of crime, Directgov has information that can help.

Preventing crime

To find out what you can do to help prevent crime, go to the crime prevention section (new window) of Directgov which includes information on:

  • Neighbourhood Watch
  • women's safety
  • community justice
  • advice on how you can help put a stop to crime

Reporting crime

In an emergency, or if you are facing immediate threat, dial 999 and ask for the police. Your call will be redirected to your local force.
