Withdrawal of National Statistics - Motoring Statistics
The National Statistics collections on Vehicle Defect Rectification Notices (VDRS) and written warnings for motoring offences are being withdrawn after the 2009 collection. This follows a public consultation conducted in accordance with the National Statistics procedures for withdrawing statistical outputs from the scope of National Statistics. Currently, these figures are published in the annual volume Police Powers and Procedures England and Wales.
The withdrawl was also anounced on 15 April 2010 in the 2008/09 edition of the Police Powers and Procedures England and Wales bulletin.
