- The Tribunals Service was created in April 2006, as an Executive Agency of the Ministry of Justice. Our mission is to establish, for the first time, a unified administration for the tribunals system.
- Our goal is to ensure that the public at large have the opportunity to exercise their rights and to seek effective redress against Government decisions, and to help settle disputes between employers and employees.

Tribunals Service Staff Survey highlight report
In October 2010 the Tribunals Service took part in the second Civil Service People Survey. Our Employee Engagement Index (calculated from questions which look at the extent to which our staff are inspired and motivated) was 55% and increase of 2% on last year.

Tribunals continue to increase output despite pressure
The Tribunals Service has continued to improve performance despite significant increases in workload in key jurisdictions, Chief Executive Kevin Sadler said today.
