Student Finance England is a service allowing full-time higher education students from England to apply for finance online. It also lets parents and partners of students support an application online. You can contact Student Finance England for an update on your application for student finance.
You can check the status of an application for full-time student finance by logging in to your student finance account.
If you sent in your financial evidence to Student Finance England in the last four weeks, this might not be processed yet. Please log in to your online account to check for updates. Student Finance England might not be able to give you an update yet if you phone them.
You may be asked to send in evidence of your identity or income, such as your passport, pay slips or P60s. For advice on what evidence you need to send in see ‘Submitting evidence to support a student finance application’.
If you're the parent or partner of a student, the student will need to give you consent before Student Finance England can speak to you about their account. See 'Giving other people access to your student finance account’ for details.
If you've sent in a paper application, Student Finance England needs time to review it before it can give you an update. Please wait 14 days before calling.
