Brief description

The Health Professions Council (HPC) is a regulator of health professionals and our main aim is to protect the public. To do this, we keep a register of health professionals who meet our standards for their training, professional skills, behaviour and health.

The Council is now seeking to appoint two registrant Council members to play a key role in setting the strategy and policy for the HPC and ensuring the HPC fulfills its statutory duties.

Registrant Council Member

As a candidate for this role you must be on the HPC Register and wholly or mainly engaged in the practice, the teaching or management of, or research in, one of the professions regulated by the HPC. You will have experience of strategic planning and collective decision making, the ability to develop strong relationships and be able to uphold the principles of transparency and accountability in all of HPC’s activities.

An attendance allowance of £310 per day and incurred expenses is payable for member roles.
