Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber)

The Tribunal has new procedural rules and fees that apply to all cases from Monday 29th of November onwards. The Tribunal's forms for starting cases and the information we provide on this website and in our Explanatory Leaflet have been updated in light of the new rules and fees.

The Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber) is the successor to the Lands Tribunal and is an independent and specialist judicial body. It hears cases and appeals involving certain disputes concerning land, particularly the valuation of land. The Tribunal consists of a President, who is the judicial head, and legal and surveyor members.

The offices and permanent courtrooms are in London. When necessary hearings can be arranged anywhere in England and Wales subject to the availability of courtrooms.
