Chair letters
‘Dear Chair’ Letters
Letters sent to all Chairs of Independent Monitoring Boards are known as ‘Dear Chair’ or ‘DC’ letters. The Chair of the Board is asked to share these letters with other members at the Board’s next meeting.
Correspondence that needs to be seen quickly by all Board members is sent as a ‘Dear Board Member’ (DBM) letter.
