Standard appeal forms

The design and formatting of the IAFT–1 ; and IAFT–3 to help make the forms clearer, and also to take account of recent address and lodgement changes.

The below forms are to be used if you are following the standard appeals process whether in or out of country.

For appeals against an entry clearance officer’s decision, you need to use the appeal Form IAFT-2 which is issued to you by the embassy or British High Commission when your application is refused. Form IAFT-2 is here for information only.

Applications refused under the points based system outside of the UK have limited right of appeal to the First-tier Tribunal. See www.ukvisas.gov.uk for more information.

The IAFT-2 form and guidance was updated in June 2010 to make the interpreter section clearer for customers and improve the quality of information provided to the Tribunal over interpreter requirements.
