A three-month internship opportunity for ESRC-funded doctoral students is now available, to work on a Public Sector Information (PSI) project at The National Archives.

The purpose of the internship is to develop an online project - openpsi.org - with the University of Southampton, as part of a JISC Rapid Innovation grant. Deadline for applications is 30 September 2009.

The project attempts to bridge the gap between the research community, data mashers and government information publishers. It also seeks to throw light on the question of the potential research value of public sector information.

Further details and information on how to apply can be found on our Research news page.
