The consultation runs until 17:00 on 5 February 2010, and will provide stakeholders with the opportunity to review the proposed approach and feed in comments. This consultation is being run by the DCSF to gather views on proposals for a new independent regulator of qualifications and tests. The new regulator will build on the QCA's work to safeguard standards of assessment and the QCA will become a development agency for curriculum, assessment and qualifications.
