The Street Works (Inspection Fees) (England) Regulations 2010 Consultation

Date published:
01 March 2010
Closing date:
24 May 2010

Summary

The proposed changes to the Code and revised inspection fees regime are designed to produce an effective inspection regime which will aid both street authorities and undertakers.

One of the aims is to improve the quality of workmanship which would reduce the need for remedial works. This would ensure that the authorities’ most valuable asset is maintained to a high standard and that statutory undertakers’ works are done correctly first time which would save time and money.
