Becta is working with key partners to design a national ICT infrastructure for education that will provide system-wide benefits of coherence and interoperability, at an affordable price.

"The laptop with 3G connectivity appears to be the most popular solution being offered to learners. I'm sure 3G has its advantages and disadvantages. Would anyone be prepared to share here their (or their learners') experiences of 3G so that we can identify problems, possible solutions and things to avoid?"
