The Directorate undertakes Consultation Exercises, as required, in order to obtain input from the Aviation Industry against changes to some aviation legislation and other activities. The NATMAC is a regular event wheras an Airspace change is requested as and when a need is identified. Details of numerous other consultations the DAP has carried out are also available.

The Airspace Change Process (ACP) describes the process and responsibilities established to ensure that proposed changes to the dimensions, classification or use of UK airspace are initiated, considered, refined, approved and implemented in a safe and controlled manner.
