supply2.gov.uk Interoperability Partners
The Supply2.gov.uk interoperability programme provides the public sector, Government-backed initiatives and business support organisations with the opportunitiy to support small businesses throughout the UK.
By publishing information regarding Supply2.gov.uk on your organisation’s website, you will be assisting small businesses to gain access to viable business opportunities within the public sector, while assisting Supply2.gov.uk to attain its objective of being the first port of call for lower-value (typically below £100,000) contract opportunities.
It is imperative that small businesses have visibility of lower-value contract opportunities to allow them to access a market which requires a wide range of products and services. The business risk presented by a downturn in the economy can be reduced for small companies if they can access a market which will ensure continued growth for their business through uncertain economic times.
If you are a government authority, business support organisation or trade association you can express an interest in joining the Supply2.gov.uk interoperability programme by emailing interoperability@supply2.gov.uk. The Supply2.gov.uk Interoperability Manager will contact you with further information.

Several central government organisations are key stakeholders of the Supply2.gov.uk portal and actively back the requirement for the publication of lower-value contract opportunities to ensure a degree of advertising sufficient to guarantee competition and to allow the impartiality of procurement procedures to be reviewed, thereby allowing government to adhere to best practice and benefit from cost savings.
Local Government Partners
Local government organisations officially interoperating with Supply2.gov.uk are able to actively promote their organisations' best practice procurement procedures and compliance with EU legislation on the advertising of lower-value contract opportunities as well as assisting in establishing a more connected government by aligning their procurement strategies to help SMEs.
