Yorkshire and Humber

Yorkshire and Humber has the greatest area of national parks in England alongside a network of towns and cities.

Many of its urban environments have transformed radically through regeneration programmes, but the range of quality in its built environment remains the region's largest challenge.

Architecture centres

We fund the following architecture centres:

  • arc, Hull
    Promotes and fosters quality in architecture and public space in the Humber region.
  • Beam, Wakefield
    Helps people make better places through learning and education, the promotion of good design, and the imaginative use of the arts in the public realm.>

We also fund the Architecture Centre Network, a development and advocacy organisation for the architecture centres.
