O.space is a nationwide programme that will use the excitement around the Olympics to inspire people about architecture and built environment.

What are the aims of O.space?

O.space aims to:

  • Create a forum for activity and debate on UK regeneration
  • Showcase the physical achievements of the Olympic Park
  • Engage local communities and decision-makers across England in the transformation of their areas
  • Contribute to a built environment legacy across the UK long after 2012.

O.space focuses on three key audiences:

  • Local communities (including lifelong learning)

Who is behind O.space?

O.space is being developed by CABE and DCMS and will be delivered mainly through UK architecture centres.
