Education grant winners 2008-09
At the end of 2008, six schools were awarded CABE education grants of £1,500 to support imaginative teaching about the design of buildings and public spaces.

Over 120 primary and secondary schools throughout England applied for a CABE education grant for projects in the following categories:
- sustainable building design
- designing your school grounds
- exploring spaces through ICT
- pupil participation in school design
- learning about local places.
With grants of £1,500 each, the six winning schools completed their projects between December and the end of March 2009.
CABE education grant winners 2008/09
The winners all created exemplary learning experiences which involve the students in the design process:
- Sittingbourne Community College
- Orleton Primary School
- Chesham Bois CE Combined School
- Dr Thomlinson Middle School
- Lower Darwen Primary School
- Archbishop Blanch School
