Education grant winners 2008-09

At the end of 2008, six schools were awarded CABE education grants of £1,500 to support imaginative teaching about the design of buildings and public spaces.

Over 120 primary and secondary schools throughout England applied for a CABE education grant for projects in the following categories:

  • sustainable building design
  • designing your school grounds
  • exploring spaces through ICT
  • pupil participation in school design
  • learning about local places.

With grants of £1,500 each, the six winning schools completed their projects between December and the end of March 2009.
