Schools design reviews
The CABE schools design panel provided independent advice on proposals for new and refurbished secondary schools as part of Building Schools for the Future between 2007 and 2010.
The panel scored schemes against 10 assessment criteria and gave an overall design quality rating for each scheme. The criteria can be used as guiding principles when designing or refurbishing schools.
The panel will continue to review the planning applications of schemes that were previously reviewed.
