Stonebridge Hillside Hub

Harlesden, London

Stonebridge Hillside Hub crowns 14 years of regeneration on the Stonebridge Estate in north-west London. It provides 59 mixed-tenure apartments in a popular public building which brings together residential, community and commercial use.

Local residents were involved in the design of Stonebridge Hillside Hub right from the start.  It is the final phase of major regeneration of the Stonebridge Estate in Harlesden, which has seen replacement or improvement of rundown high-rise flats, together with significant upgrading of the local street scene and overall quality of the neighbourhood.

Stonebridge Hillside Hub is an exciting mixed-use scheme which has played a major part in transforming the area. It provides – in one building – community, health and commercial facilities, together with apartments.

The community centre and café form the Hub’s central axis, between a primary care centre and a small supermarket, with apartments in a range of sizes above. The scheme includes a paved plaza in front of a welcoming entrance, landscaped public spaces and a shared garden for the Hub’s residents.
