Tea is good for the heart

  • June 18, 2010 | Louis

Good news! If your daily tea or coffee intake comes close to mine, you could be set for a long and healthy life.

A 13-year study of more than 40,000 people found that drinking more than six cups of tea or 2-4 coffees each day reduces the risk of heart disease by a third.

We don’t seem to really know why tea and coffee are so good for the heart, but I think it’s a pleasing correlation nonetheless. Anyone for a cuppa?
