Thandi means to "nurture, love and care" in Xhosa, and the initiative
has been praised by Nelson Mandela as being both visionary and
inspirational. Medium bodied and easy going, Thandis Pinot Noir combines soft
tannins and refreshing acidity to produce an excellently structured
wine.
Exhibiting characteristic strawberry and raspberry flavours it
also has delicious savoury notes seldom found in Pinots Noirs at
this price range. Great on its own, it is a great match with turkey
or tasty chicken dishes and excellent with game such as venison
or wild boar.
Thandi Chardonnay

Full-bodied and refreshing this is another excellently structured
wine from Paul Cluver’s Thandi initiative.
Intense aromas of lemon and lime with a touch of wood smoke. The
ripe fruit flavours, butterscotch and long pleasant aftertaste,
make this a great example of New World Chardonnay.
Approachable yet complex, Thandi Chardonnay is great at parties
as well at the dinner table.
