This art and craft studio complex provides workspaces for 89 artists in Sheffield.

The imaginative use of concrete and the incorporation of art works has resulted in a stylish and imposing building that manages to reflect and sit comfortably within its industrial setting.

The judges said:

"This is the UK's first purpose-built fine art and craft studio complex, providing workspaces for 69 artists. The building is striking for its robust material - concrete - which manages to be both imposing and stylish. The workspaces are flexible and affordable."
