A record 36 housing schemes, pictured below, achieved a Building for Life Standard in 2009. They include two with the highest scores ever: Icon - Lime Tree Square in Street, Somerset, and Cross Street South in Wolverhampton. This kind of housing sets a benchmark for the future.
