Norfolk Park Green Homes

Design and construction

Norfolk Park Green Homes are 10% larger that the minimum Parker Morris space standards, with the sense of space accentuated by high ceiling and generous natural light. Spray taps and water efficient features minimise water consumption and all homes benefit from good sound insulation. Level or shallow gradient surfaces make it easier for those pushing pushchairs or with mobility impairment to access the development.

All homes meet the Lifetime Homes standard, and can be adapted thanks to features such as strengthened floor joists and walls (which allow for the installation of joists and lifts if required).

The area for public open space is limited and could have worked better. The main natural area between two of the blocks is most aesthetically pleasing in the spring and summer months.
