Design process
Reeves Bailey, the architectural advisors employed by Bryant Homes, used their standard range of plans for this project. They were also guided by the Henlow Village Design Statement, and the Essex Design Guide. Obtaining planning permission was protracted, and local objections resulted in a lower density than currently recommended by central government.
