Fulham Island

London

Fulham Island

Fulham Island is a £9.4m mixed use development on a tricky island site at the southern end of the North End Road market in West London.

It is an impressive example of the regenerative influence of clever design. A strong partnership between developer, architect and contractor has produced an exciting solution, which both fits the surroundings and brings life to the area.

Four blocks are arranged around a central core of underground parking, with a communal garden on its roof. The east and west blocks contain existing parades of shops. There are existing flats over the west block, and existing residential in the east block, both of which have been refurbished. There is a new five-storey apartment block to the north, and an L shaped office building to the south towards Fulham Broadway.

This colourful development provides 20 flats (two and three bedroom), and two penthouse duplexes in the new five storey block. There are a further ten flats in the eastward refurbished building.
