Don't be fooled by bogus websites and organisations claiming to sell tickets to the Games.

Tickets will be available from this website and official London 2012 sales channels for residents in the UK and designated European countries only from March 2011. 

Residents outside the UK and designated European countries will need to apply for tickets through their local National Olympic Committee, National Paralympic Committee or Authorised Ticket Reseller from 2011. Find out more

The only way to buy official hospitality and travel packages will be through London 2012's official hospitality service providers from March 2011. Please read About tickets for details.

Visa - The only card accepted at the London 2012 Games

In recognition of Visa's support of the Games, the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games are proud to accept only Visa cards (debit, credit and prepaid), along with cash and cheques. For more information on how to obtain a Visa card, contact a Visa card issuer or visit the Visa website.

Did you know?

Olympic Games ticket applications

Applications for London 2012 Olympic Games tickets will open on Tuesday 15 March 2011 and will remain open for a period of six weeks, closing at 11.59pm on Tuesday 26 April 2011.

Paralympic Games ticket applications will open on Friday 9 September 2011. Further information will be released later in the year.
