Defence Estates Operations


This includes the Defence Training Estate (DTE), United States Visiting Forces estate and living accommodation for Service personnel.

Operations also provide significant support to the Defence Training Review programme.

This vast responsibility, which includes an average annual spend of around £1.5 billion, can be broken down into five main outputs:

ESTATE MANAGEMENT
PROJECTS
LAND MANAGEMENT SERVICES
HOUSING
DTE

These outputs are delivered through five operations delivery areas, each supported by highly skilled staff, including estate, construction, and military specialists, together with finance, commercial and business managers. COO is supported by a Chief of Staff team which works closely with the delivery areas to achieve greater consistency in service delivery across the business and to maximise efficiency in the use of resources.

Operations Housing
Operations Defence Training Estate (DTE)
