Passports overseas

Information for passport applicants based overseas.

If you are outside the UK and wish to apply for a British passport, IPS cannot help you with your enquiry. To apply for a new British passport or to renew your British passport while you're resident abroad, you must contact a regional passport processing centre. Each regional processing centre processes applications from certain countries.
