Fraud

Warning Job hoax

DFID has become aware of an internet hoax which is offering jobs within our organisation. The hoax involves sending money for a Police Clearance Certificate and asks you to contact a firm of solicitors in London. Please do not respond to any unsolicited job offers purporting to be from DFID.

If you suspect the loss or misuse of DFID funds, resources or assets due to either fraud or corruption please contact us. You do not have to give your name and we will treat your information as confidential.

We can be contacted by email, fraud@dfid.gov.uk  or you can write to us by addressing the envelope to the Head of Internal Audit and marking it as In Confidence at 1 Palace Street, London SW1E 5HE. For more detailed information read our Reporting fraud page.
