I am the Human Development Adviser for DFID Mozambique, covering health, education and HIV/AIDS. I arrived in Maputo in August 2007, from 3 years with the EC in Brussels and before that DFID in Bangladesh. As an ex district health officer in Malawi in the early 1990’s this return to Africa feels a bit like coming home.
