PILOT SHARE FAIR ANNOUNCES FULL LINE UP OF PRESENTERS
| Date: | 23 Sep 2008 | | Details: | An impressive line up of presenters has now been confirmed for the tenth annual PILOT Share Fair being held on Tuesday, 11 November 2008 at the Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre.
The event, sponsored by CAN, a leading provider of engineering, inspection and maintenance solutions, aims to provide small and medium sized suppliers to the oil and gas industry with information necessary for long-term business planning. Thirteen major oil and gas companies will inform attendees about their activities scheduled over the next 18 months, representing potential new business estimated to be worth in the region of £4billion.
Aker Solutions, AMEC, BP, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Exxon Mobil, Fairfield Energy Limited, Shell U.K. Limited, StatoilHydro, Subsea 7, Technip, Total E&P UK and Wood Group, will all be exhibiting at the event.
During the day, companies will be talking about their strategies for the North Sea, including upcoming drilling programmes, technology requirements, environment and integrity projects, plans for operations and maintenance, decommissioning and development projects, as well as providing key company contact details. Delegates can listen to group presentations or gain detailed information in pre-booked private one-to-one sessions with prospective clients. A record number of one-to-one bookings has already been received in the first week of opening.
One of the companies in high demand is new Oil & Gas UK member Fairfield Energy, whose contracts manager Brian Brown said: "To participate in Share Fair is part of our commitment to the Supply Chain Code of Practice. As a new independent operator in the North Sea we view our relationship with our contractors and suppliers, and their resultant performance, as critical in achieving our business objectives."
PILOT Share Fair 10 opens at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre on Tuesday, 11 November from 7.00am (for registration).
