Local authority allocations for schools and children's services

October's Spending Review set out the national funding levels for schools, the introduction of the Pupil Premium and the creation of a new Early Intervention Grant to provide local authorities with funding for services for children, young people and families. Today the detailed allocations have been announced.  Please see this Press Notice and written ministerial statements on:

Secretary of State for Education, Michael Gove, has written to all local authority Chief Executives, Lead Members for Children's Services and Directors of Children’s Services to explain the allocations for schools and children's services.
