The Training Quality Standard took centre stage at the recent Midlands Excellence Awards Ceremony, the largest annual celebration of excellence in Europe. Seven employer-responsive training organisations celebrated their certification against the Standard.
All seven training organisations were recently assessed and certificated by Investors in Excellence (IIE), a TQS Certification Body and subsidiary of Midlands Excellence. In receiving certification, they have each demonstrated high levels of capability and performance against the Standard’s demanding criteria, and so their recognition – alongside businesses winning Excellence Awards for their wider business improvement – was well deserved.
Guest speaker and Olympic Gold medallist James Cracknell joined Midlands Excellence and each of the training organisations on stage to congratulate them on their achievement in front of over 1,000 business representatives from across the Midlands.
