The first step in applying for assessment against the Training Quality Standard is registering with a Certification Body.
A Certification Body is an organisation licensed to carry out TQS Assessments and issue TQS Certifications. The Certification Bodies are independently regulated by the UK Accreditation Service using ISO standards.
There are two Certification Bodies in total, both are national, meaning any eligible organisation can choose to be assessed by them. The certification bodies are listed below.

- G4S Assessment Services (National)
